Thank you, Jennifer. When my husband gave it to me, I knew exactly where I would put it because it just seemed so appropriate to me for it to be there.
Such a beautiful reminder! I always include hope with faith. A precious gift. I still have the Mandy wood creation that Strongheart made for me. The butterfly puzzle I passed on to my grandchildren.
Thank you, Melanie. I am so glad that you still enjoy some of his work. I wish you could have seen a gift he made for a family at church. It is the Nativity done on a piece of slab wood and he went ahead and attached the things on the back so it was ready to hang since it was rather large. I told him that I thought it was the most outstanding piece he's ever done...especially on the slab wood. I don't think we even got a picture of it before he gave it to them.
Beautiful! I love how he comes up with different kinds of projects. This makes me think of a song we sing in church sometimes that has that line: Christ Our Hope in Life and Death: https://youtu.be/uZBLPMgCRXY?si=ou1cSnTn1sxJ-vpn.
Barbara, thank you for your kind words regarding Strongheart's creations. There is a website that provides free patterns and he also has some pattern books.
Thank you so much for sharing about the Getty song. I had not heard that one yet, but it is beautiful. I enjoy their songs...my favorite being In Christ Alone. I've added the one you mentioned to my playlist.
a beautiful creation!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen. I'm always so proud of his work.
DeleteSo pretty. Love the light shining through. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ellen. Having the light in the background helps to be able to read the words even better.
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Sandi. I will pass that along to Strongheart. :)
DeleteAh, I love it! And what a perfect place to put it...next to the manger!

DeleteWow, that looks amazing! Do you have a candle behind it?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lauren. And, yes, I do have a candle behind it, but it's a battery operated candle.
