Mari, you are so sweet. Thank you for your kind words. I do try to put into practice, but I fall short many days. Actually, normally I do not do a word for the year but this year, the Lord has impressed upon my heart as I was reading Romans 12 one day to begin memorizing that chapter. Those verses that I have been working on deal alot with pride and the reverse of that would be kindness...so kindness is actually my "word" for 2024.
Thank you, Melanie. Our weekend just got better when those courageous linemen from our power company restored our power about half an hour ago. We lost power at 4:30 Friday afternoon. Staying warm was not a problem though thanks to the woodstove and my husband.
That is so true. And I really believe you practice that, from all I see and the kind words you've spoken to me in e-mails and on my blog. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad, Tina. God is good!
DeleteLovely picture! Kindness, kind words, kind deeds , are indeed like honey: sweet and smooth.
ReplyDeleteYes they are, Duta.
DeleteSo true and anyone can do it. :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Karen!
DeleteIt really doesn't take much to say a kind word or give a warm smile.
ReplyDeleteNo it doesn't, Granny M. We never know what others are going through and a kind word or warm smile can make all the difference for them.
DeleteI meant to answer your question ( on my blog). Yes, the reason my hands hurt is due to arthritis. My Mom had it, my sisters also.
ReplyDeleteArthritis can definitely be painful. I will pray for you.
DeleteHave a lovely weekend and stay warm!
