If you are looking for a yummy scone recipe, please allow me to introduce you to
Ridiculously Easy Maple Pecan Scones
These are not your typical British scone, but their tender flakiness and the combination of the maple glaze along with the pecans in the scone make for a delicious treat with tea.
The recipe has a unique (to me at least) way of putting the butter into the mixture and I have to say I am a fan!
You can find the recipe HERE .
Those look SO good! Wish I lived close enough to come over for a sample. :-)
ReplyDeleteI wish you did too, my friend. :)
DeleteThank you for the recipe!!I make savory ones but will be trying this!

You are welcome, Donna. I hope you and Larry will enjoy them.
DeleteHaha! You had me at ridiculously easy! I can almost smell the aroma looking at them.
ReplyDeleteEasy is good...but ridiculously easy is even better, yes? :)
DeleteYou also had me at ridiculously easy! Those look delicious! I can imagine how delicious they would be with a cup of tea. And I love maple syrup!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julia. The maple syrup is only in the glaze, but it definitely is a compliment to the flavor from the nuts.
DeleteThey sure look good!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen. They were tasty. :)
DeleteThey look really good - except the pecans. We are not fans, but I have a feeling these would be food without them.
ReplyDeleteMari...you could use walnuts unless you guys don't care for nuts at all. I didn't have pecans when I made these...just walnuts in the freezer...and that's what I used. One day I will have to "invest" in a few pecans (because they are ridiculously priced) and see which we like better or if there is any difference in the taste.
DeleteThey look so good ( and you know I do love scones).
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. Yes...I actually thought of you when I made these. :)
DeleteI have copied that scrumptious recipe, Dianna! Thank you for sharing!~ xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou are quite welcome! I know you will enjoy them.
