The Things That Fun Stuff Is Made Of

I went to King Arthur Flour's website the other day just to check out some prices and look what I found!

I'm so excited!
I can make six mini-loaves of quick breads,
and they will have these designs on them!

I know...I'm easily entertained!
The pan was on sale for more than half off the regular price.

I am already envisioning the loaves I am going to make
and share with some dear ones!

    1. I love sharing and what could be cuter than giving someone a little loaf with a cute design on top? Provided that I get the pans greased well enough for the design to be cute when turned out, that is 😉

    1. Thank you...the squirrel is my favorite and then the turkey. Now, if they just look like a squirrel and a turkey when I turn them out of the pan. 😂

  6. Those are so cute! And how nice to have them connected, so you don't have to wrestle so different mini loaf pans in the oven. I have a Harvest Loaf Cake recipe that makes six mini loaves, so that would be perfect.

    1. Thanks, Friend. I couldn't resist... especially when the pan was 60% off
Would you be so kind as to share your Harvest Loaf Cake recipe? It sounds delicious.

    2. Sure! It's here: https://barbaraleeharper.com/2006/12/08/harvest-loaf-cake/ Though it sounds fallish, we usually have it in December. Since Timothy has become allergic to pumpkin, we don't make it for family gatherings any more. But I'll make mini loaves and freeze some for when my oldest comes to visit.

  12. Cute pans! Also, I read your post about the rail trail. I will have to keep that in mind for a spring/summer/fall overnight trip for next year. Not that far from us.

    1. Thank you, Willow. I believe you live in Ohio. Our grandson lives in Ohio as well. It's such a pretty state. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from visiting our beautiful WV, but because they have the trails closed, I don't think it would be worth the trip unless you were going to take in some other things in the area. I don't know if you saw the post on Coopers Rock State Park, but it is a nice attraction. Just a thought. I was so disappointed when we went to the rail trail and found all of the barricades that I could only imagine how disappointed I would have been if we had traveled any distance to go there. It does have that beautiful area to put a kayak in the Chest River if the water is up enough to be able to float.
