Thoughts on Resilience

Lisa's prompt for the month of April encouraged us to either write or find a poem that included our One Word for 2025 in its message.  I had posted the poem "If" a while back and thought about just reposting it but then decided to see what I could find that had the specific word "resilience" in it.  What I am posting today once again does not have the word "resilience" in the body of it, but it definitely encourages one to be resilient.

  6. Ooh, I love this, Dianna! It reminds me of when Jeff and I were trying to find the hotel in the Sequoia forest. We were ready to turn around after one more turn of the road if we didn't see it...and then there it was! I was glad that we gave it one more half-a-mile before we gave up.

  7. This is a good reminder. One of my top two favorite classics is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens--but it took me several attempts before I could finish it. I am so glad I finally did. When I did, I immediately read it again.

This also reminds me of a poem by Edgar Albert Guest called "Don't Quit": https://allpoetry.com/poem/14327858-Don-t-Quit-by-Edgar-Albert-Guest

    1. You are welcome. Sometimes, my friend, it just hard but I try to think what may lie ahead just around the corner. xx
