I was sad to hear of his passing, but saw a video of him saying "don't you dare grieve when you hear I've passed!" I love how his team said "Voddie has left the land of the dying and entered the land of the living." What a great perspective.
I'm so thankful that we still have Voddie's books and videos that we can continue to enjoy the wisdom God has given him. And, yes, it is an interesting time we are living in, my friend. May our eyes and spirits be opened.
One of my favorite hymns, too. A line that I've found comforting in the last stanza says, "From life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny."
One of my favorite hymns. The lyrics always bring me back to Christ. Voddie has run the course. He is with His Savior now.
ReplyDeleteYes, my friend, he is...in the land of the living! Thanks again for letting me know last evening.

DeleteAnother heralder of truth has gone home. Such an interesting time we are living in, Dianna.
