From My Journal

 TODAY IS: 31 March 2025

AROUND ME:  It is almost 60 degrees at 7:00 A.M. and we have been having gentle spring rains off and on since around noon on Sunday.  We really need the rain.

I AM PONDERING: how quickly 2025 is passing by!  It's so hard to believe that today is the last day of March.  It encourages me to make each day count!

  1. It's cold here today with snow predicted. We had terrible storms and tornadoes near us, awful ice storms north of us with so many trees down! Bob and I both said how thankful we were for a warm house and power last night.
I'm looking forward to that recipe.
    Cute bunny!

    1. I was praying for you yesterday morning because I saw on the news about the terrible ice storm before we left for Sunday School. I'm so thankful that the terrible storms and tornadoes stayed clear from your area. Praying for those affected.

      You will enjoy the recipe.

      I love bunnies.

  5. We had heavy thunderstorms warnings last night, but if they came, I didn't hear them until after I was already up. I'm hoping the Carolinas got some rain to help with the wildfires there.

It is hard to believe we're 1/4 of the way through 2025 already.

I love all the meme quotes. That jadeite bunny is so cute. That reminds me I need to get mt spring/Easter decorations out.

    1. We had some high winds and heavy rain early this morning and it's rained for most of the day today. I hope to put my spring decor out this week. We'll see how it goes. We have a busy week ahead.

  11. Amen....the quote is spot on!! I too, think that this year is passing so quickly. I saw a face book post last week quoting how many weeks until Christmas.. I need the days to slow down and let me enjoy each week without having to think about the Holidays. We had 80 degree temps today. With the rain we've had, the sun sure makes it so humid. HARD to believe tomorrow is April 1st.. I'm late commenting, but I hope you enjoy a peaceful evening.

    1. I'm sorry I missed replying to this yesterday, Shug. One of my goals for this year is to be more present in the moment, so I get your feelings about just slowing down and enjoying each day. The holidays will be upon it soon enough and then we can enjoy them.
